Being a dad and husband first. Everything else is a side job.
I woke up early today and decided to catch an early train to work. So i did my typical routine just 60 minutes early.
The snow on the ground was all gone from the “heat wave” we had earlier this week so it was cold but dry. The forecast said we “may” have some rain later on but the day was going to get to the 40′s.
I got on the 6:44 train out of Bridgeport and settled in for the 45 minute ride. Somewhere around Stamford, CT I looked up from my iPhone and noticed that EVERYTHING was covered in snow. Everybody on the train was caught off guard.
So here I sit now in my office with very few people in the building. People are tricling in but those who ventured out after 7:30am found a slick and treacherous ride into work. People who live less than 10 miles away found themselevs stuck in their cars for 90 minutes or more.
Gotta love that weatherman !!
